AGE LIMIT - 35 years as on 01.07.2006.
A. Age Relaxation for :
- OBC – Relaxation upto 3 years
- Relaxation in the upper age limit of 10 years, over and above the relaxation as allowable for OBC shall be admissible to Physically Challenged category. [The candidates applying against the reserved vacancy for Physically Challenged should have a minimum of 40 percent disability (moderate) certified by the appropriate Medical Authority.]
- Relaxation in the upper age limit of 3 years shall be admissible to Ex-servicemen (after deducting the period of service from the actual age).
- Relaxation by 05 years in case of Central Government servants who are working in posts which are in the same line or allied cadres).
Relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years shall be admissible to persons who had ordinarily been domiciled in Kashmir division of the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from 1st day of January 1980 to 31st day of December, 1989 provided that the relaxation in the upper age limit for appearing at any examination shall be subject to the maximum number of chances permissible under the relevant rules.
Certificate regarding proof of residence - Any person intending to avail of this relaxation of age limit admissible under rule 3 shall submit a certificate from:
(a) the District Magistrate in the Kashmir Division within those jurisdiction he had ordinarily resided;
or (b) any other authority designated in this behalf by the Government of Jammu & Kashmir to the effect that he had ordinarily been domiciled in the Kashmir Division of the state of Jammu & Kashmir during the period from the 1st day of January, 1980 to the 31st day of December, 1989.
2. Candidates selected against this advertisement are likely to be posted at any of the Heavy Water Plants and are also liable to serve in any part of India and in any constituent units of the Department of Atomic Energy as may be required in public interest.
3. The candidates appointed will be governed by New Contributory Pension Scheme effective from 01.01.2004.
4. The Outstation SC/ST candidates called for interview will be eligible for to and fro rail fare for IInd Class or actual fare by the shortest route whichever is less, subject to the production of tickets / ticket numbers etc. Similarly, the outstation SC/ST candidates called for interview for the above mentioned posts will be paid second class rail fare or actual fare whichever is less from the place of their normal residence to the place of interview and back by the shortest route subject to the production of tickets/ticket numbers etc. However, Traveling Allowance is not admissible to those SC/ST candidates who are already in Central/State Government services, Central/State Government Corporation, Public Undertakings, Local Government Institutions and Panchayats.
5. While all candidates irrespective of community/group will be considered against UR vacancies, against community/group quota vacancies only candidates belonging to that community /group will be considered. For this purpose, SC/ST/OBC candidates should furnish Caste Certificate from competent authorities. In case of OBC, the certificate should specially indicate that the candidate does not belong to the persons/sections (creamy layer) mentioned in Col.3 of the Schedule of the Government of India, Department of Personnel and Training OM No.36033/3/2004-Estt.(res) dated 9.3.2004 and the certificate should be in the prescribed form circulated by Ministry of Personal and Training, Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Personnel and Training, Government of India. The candidate belong to SC/ST/OBC should clearly indicate the same in the application (even when applying for UR vacancy) and should attach proof of the same in the specified format failing which they will be treated as unreserved and subsequently representations for change of community status will not be entertained.
6. The vacancies shown above are provisional and liable to vary. In case the vacancy position for any category is reduced or even made nil, HWB is not liable to compensate the applicant for consequential damage/loss.
7. Before applying for the post the candidates should ensure that he/she fulfills all the eligibility norms. The candidates should have the requisite Educational / Additional qualification from recognized University/Institute as on the date of submission of the application and should enclose with their application attested copies by gazetted officer, certificates, mark sheets in support of having the requisite qualification. |
