Sealed item rate tenders in two Parts viz. Part A (Technical bid) and Part B (Financial & Commercial Bid) are invited on behalf of President of India by the Chief Engineer (Civil), Heavy Water Board from approved and eligible contractors up to 1500 hrs on 28.05.2007 for the following work at HWP (Manuguru), Andhra Pradesh. The eligibility of prospective bidders for the purpose of issue of Tender document will be decided through valid registration in appropriate class with CPWD, State PWD, MES, Railways, DAE, BARC etc. and / or having experience of executing similar work and production of Certificates regarding successful completion of at least one similar work costing not less than Rs.836 lakh or two similar works costing not less than Rs.523 lakh or three similar works costing not less than Rs.418 lakh each, during the last seven years. The bidders not having experience of executing similar work will not be issued tender documents. Similar work means R.C.C. framed structure with sanitary installation etc. In addition, the following may also be produced at the time of purchase of Tender Document (i) Bank Solvency Certificate for Rs.418 lakh (ii) Latest Income Tax Clearance certificate or audited statement of account of last three years (iii) Annual turnover for last three years for 320 lakh.

The request for issue of Tender Document along with proof of eligibility criteria and documents mentioned above should be addressed to P&AO, HWB along with cost of tender document. Tenders can also be obtained by Post by paying through crossed Demand Draft of Rs.2300 /- to cover postage and other charges. Bids also can be submitted by post but the prospective bidders are advised to take into account the time required for postal transit. The dates of various activities mentioned above will be strictly adhered to and the department will not accept any responsibility for delay in postal transit.
In case the last date of sale and/or the date of receipt and opening of tender is declared as Holiday , the respective dates shall be treated as postponed to the next working day, correspondingly.
