General Manager, Heavy Water Plant, Talcher, Department of Atomic Energy, PO: Vikrampur, Dist. Angul, Orissa-759106, invites on behalf  of the President of India, tenders from eligible Contractors for “ PROVIDING CATERING AND HOSPITALITY SERVICE INCLUDING HOUSE KEEPING IN GUEST HOUSE OF HEAVY WATER PLANT TALCHER ”. The estimated cost of work is Rs. 1.92 Lakhs (Rupees One Lakh Ninety two thousand only) for a period of one year. The period of contract will be for One year.

Eligibility criteria for issue of Tender Documents are : (a) Having experience in rendering similar services atleast for a period of 12 months during the preceeding three years counted from the due date with a minimum contract value of not less than eighty percent of the estimated cost of this Tender in Central/State Government/PSU Organisations and (b) Service Tax Registration Code (STC No.).

Application in sealed envelope superscribing the Tender Notice Number and last date of application, addressed to the Pay & Accounts Officer (P&AO), HWP Talcher, PO: Vikrampur, Dist. Angul, Orissa, for issue of Tender Documents accompanied by documentary proof in respect of eligibility criteria as stated above, duty certified in the body of application and copy of  News paper clipping containing the NIT, shall be received upto 14:30 hours of  20.07.2007. Tender documents shall be issued to the eligible Contractors only after due scrutiny, at a cost of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five hundred only) per set (Non-refundable) on any working day from 25.07.2007 to 28.07.2007 between 13:30 hours to 14:30 hours.

Completed Tenders along with the EMD of Rs. 3,840/- (Rupees Three thousand Eight hundred Forty only) in the shape of DD or Bankers Cheque drawn in favour of Pay & Accounts Officer, HWP Talcher, on State Bank of India . Talcher Fertilizer Township Branch (Code No.3312) shall be received upto 14:30 hours of  30.07.2007 and shall be opened on the same day at 15:30 hours in the presence of such intending Tenderers who wish to be present .

Tenders received without EMD are liable to be rejected . In case of closure of Office on the last date of receipt of application for issue of Tender Documents or due date of  Tender submission/opening for any reason, the dates stipulated in this Notice would stand postponed to the respective next Working Days. General Manager, HWP Talcher, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all application(s) for issue of Tender or completed Tenders submitted without assigning any reasons whatsoever thereof .
