Sealed tenders are invited by General Manager,HWP(K), on behalf of the President of India for the work prescribed below from the Contractors who has completed successfully during last five year one similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 75% of the estimated cost/two similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of estimated cost/three similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of the estimated cost (indicate average annual turnover expected) and who are on the approved list  of DAE, NPCIL, CPWD , State PWD’s, MES,Railways & PSUs etc.

Blank Tenders document with technical specifications and drawings can be had on production of proof of experience of similar works, Income    Tax PAN,from Dy.Controller of Accounts, Heavy Water Plant (Kota), PO: Anushakti  323 303, Via: Kota (Rajashthan) on payment of Rs.1,000/- (non-refundable) in cash or through demand draft  (Rs.1,050/- including postal charges) drawn in favour of Dy.Controller of Accounts payable at State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur,Rawatbhata branch,from 04/09/2008 to 18/09/2008 between 10.30 hrs.and 16.00 hrs. on any working day. Tender document can be obtained/submitted either  in person or by post. The request of purchase of tender document by post, should be super scribed on envelope as “For Purchase of Tender, Tender Notice No. & Name of Work.” Department shall not be responsible for any postal delay or loss and no claim in this regards shall be entertained. This  is two part tender . Part-1: Technical Bid and Part-2: Price Bid.

Pre-bid Meeting shall be held on 24/09/2008 at HWP(K). Part-I (Technical Bid) of the tender duly filled and signed on each page along with solvency certificate of 20% of estimated cost issued by any nationalized bank kept in a sealed cover, the EMD (DD in favour of DCA, HWP(K))  kept in another sealed cover  and Part-II (Price Bid)duly filled and signed on each page without any condition to be kept in another sealed cover, all three kept in a separate sealed cover shall be received upto 14:30 hrs of. Tender  documents  not accompanying with  Earnest Money Deposit will be summarily reject 03/10/2008ed. The bidders should quote the rates inclusive of all taxes and levies etc.

Part-I (Technical bid) Tender shall be opened on 03/10/2008 at 15.30 hrs.

Part-II (Price bid) shall be opened  on 16/11/2008 at 14.30 hrs. at HWP(K), in the presence of qualified bidders or their authorized respresentatives. Any change in date or time pf Part-II opening shall be intimated to qualified bidders  in advance.
The General Manager does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any tender or to assign any reason thereof. Terms and Conditions mentioned in NIT inTender shall prevail.
