On behalf of the President of India, General Manager, Heavy Water Plant, Tuticorin, invites sealed tenders from approved and eligible Contractors of State PWDs, CPWD, Railways or MES upto 1400 hours on 09.8.07 for the following work and will be opened at 1500 hrs. on the same day in the presence of intending tenderers as detailed below:-

Name of the work : Repair of roofs of buildings at HWP(T) site.
Tender Notice No : HWPT / CIVIL / Plant / 11 / 07
Estimated cost (Rs.) : 1221500
E.M.D. (Rs.) : 24430
Time Allowed : Five Months

Tender document can be had from Pay & Accounts Officer, Heavy Water Plant, Tuticorin on payment of Rs.500/- (Non-refundable) in cash or by Demand Draft drawn in his favour payable at State Bank of India, Spic Nagar, Tuticorin- 628 007, in addition to the cost of tender document, Rs.100/- shall be sent extra for obtaining the tender document by post, from 19.7.07 to 07.8.07 (1030 hrs. to 11.30 hrs. & 14.00 hrs. to 1530 hrs.) on all working days on production of proof of experience in similar nature and value of works. (previous work orders and completion certificates), registration, IT PAN, solvency certificate etc.. Tenders not accompanying Earnest Money Deposit will be summarily rejected. Tenders with any condition including that of conditional/unconditional rebates and late/delayed tenders shall be rejected.
