Sealed tenders are invited by  General Manager, Heavy Water Plant, Baroda for and on behalf of  President Of India from Registered/Qualified Contractors for the following jobs.

Tender No. HWP / B / 21 / 07-08 / TS-274 Subject Repairing of TC Coated Piston Rods of 20K41/42 High Pressure Reciprocating Synthesis gas Compressors. Estimated cost Rs. 14,90,000/- Earnest Money Deposit Rs. 37,250/- Starting date of issuing/selling of tender    30/06/2007 Last date of issuing/selling of tender 12/07/2007 Last date and time of receipt of tender 13/07/2007 at 14.30 Hrs. Date and time of opening of tender 13/07/2007 at 15.00 Hrs.

Tender document for the above tenders can be obtained from Pay and Accounts Officer, Heavy Water Plant, P.O. Fertilizer nagar, Dist. Baroda – 391750, on payment of Rs 500/- (non refundable) on all working days during 10:30 Hrs to 15:00 Hrs on production of proof of having sufficient relevant experience along with list of available tools, tackles, skilled manpower, adequate facilities for the successful execution of the above mentioned jobs. In case of postal request/submission, HWP(B) will not be responsible for any postal delay.

Party must have executed similar works of  “Fabrication, Precision Machining, Diamond wheel Grinding, application of Tungsten Carbide coating on Components of heavy duty machines like piston rod for Reciprocating air / gas compressors etc and having in –house tool room facility for inspection and testing of the Components etc.” during the last 3 years, the aggregate value of such orders should not be less than the amount put to Tender subject to the condition  that at least one such work should be of value not lass than 30 % of the amount put to Tender. Relevant copies of work orders and certificates for jobs carried out are to be submitted along with request for issue of tender.

Sealed Tenders should reach Pay and Accounts Officer, HWP – Baroda by 14.30 hours on or before the due date for receipt given above, which shall be opened on the same day at 15.00 hours in presence of the Tenderers. In case the date of  receipt of opening is falling on public holiday, it shall be opened on the next working day at specified time.

Offers received without EMD will be summarily rejected.
