- Sealed tenders are hereby invited by the General Manager HWP(K) on behalf of the President of India from the contractors on production of proof of experience for similar type of work for the following work. The work is estimated to cost Rs 1,00,000/- ( Rs. One lakh ) approximately.
NAME OF WORK: -
“COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CONTRACT FOR TATA MAKES TELEPHONE EXCHANGE MODEL IDX-1250 WITH BUILT IN CAPACITY OF 450 LINES INCLUDING TIE LINES ".
- The work is to be completed as stated in the memorandum from the date of commencement of the work which shall be reckoned from the fifteenth day after the date on which the order to commence the work is issued to the contractor.
- Tender document consisting of specifications, schedule of quantities and conditions of contract etc. can be obtained on payment of Rs.150/-(Rupees one hundred and fifty only) in cash (non-refundable) per set or through demand draft of Rs.200/- (non refundable) including postal charges drawn in favor of Dy. Controller of Accounts payable at State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur, Rawatbhata branch only, from the office of Deputy Controller of Accounts Heavy Water Plant (Kota) PO : Anushakti, Via :Kota, Raj. on any working day between 10.00 hrs. and 16.00 hrs. from 30/05/2007 to 13/06/2007 on production of proof of experience in maintenance of Tata make telephone exchange preferably model IDX 1250 during last three years the aggregate value of which shall not be less than Rs. 1,00,000/- and at least one such work should be not less than Rs 35,000/-.
- Tender which should always be placed in sealed envelope with the name of work (as given in Para above) written on the envelope will be received up to 2.30 PM on 14/06/2007 and will be opened at 15.30 Hrs on same day by the General Manager or his authorized representative at Heavy Water Plant (Kota) office at Anushakti (Via-Kota) in the presence of such tenderer or their representatives as may be present.
- The tender shall be accompanied by the deposit at call receipt of State Bank of India or any Scheduled Bank or drafts payable on demand for the earnest money amounting to Rs. 2000/- (Rupees Two thousand only) credited in the name of Deputy Controller of Accounts, Heavy Water Plant (Kota). The tender not accompanied by the earnest money will be summarily rejected. Tender and EMD should be placed in separate sealed envelop each marked tender and EMD respectively and both tender and envelop should be submitted together in the sealed envelop.
- If the amount of an item is not worked out by the contractor or it does not correspond with the rate written either in figures or in words, then the rate quoted by the contractor in words shall be taken as correct and not the amount.
- If it is found that the tender is not submitted in the proper manner or contains too many corrections or absurd rates, or amount, it will be open for the Govt. to ignore the tender.
- The contractor should quote in figures as well as in words the rates and / or amounts tendered by them. The amount for each item shall be worked out and the requisite totals furnished on each page and carried over wherever necessary to arrive at the total cost of work for each part of the work envisaged in this tender. All correction shall be attested by the dated initials of the tenderer.
- Security deposit (including earnest money): 10 % of the estimated cost of the work put to tender subject to a maximum of Rs.1 Lakh only. The security deposit will be collected by deductions from the running bills of the contractor at the rates mentioned above and the earnest money, if deposited, in case at the time of tender, will be treated as part of security deposit. The security deposit will also be accepted in cash or in the form of Government securities and Fixed Deposit Receipt and Guarantee Bonds of Scheduled Banks and State Bank of India.
- The General Manager of the Heavy Water Plant (Kota), Rajasthan does not bind himself to accept the lowest or any tender and reserve to himself the right of accepting the whole or any part of the tender and the tenderer shall be bound to perform the same at the rates quoted.
- Canvassing in any form in connection with the tender is strictly prohibited.
- Sales tax, service tax or any other taxes or royalty on materials in respect of this contract shall be payable by the contractor and Govt. will not entertain any claim whatsoever in this respect.
- Tenders for works shall remain open for acceptance for a period of 90 days from the date of opening of tender.
- Item rate tender containing percentage above/below on their total tendered amount is liable for rejection.
- The tenderer shall read the specifications and study the drawings carefully before submitting the tender.
- The tenderer should acquaint themselves with the work and conditions of the site and locality and no claim will be entertained on these issues.
- On acceptance of the tender, the name of the accredited representatives(s) of the contractor, who would be responsible for taking instruction from the engineer should be communicated by the contractor to the engineer.
- The contractor must produce income tax clearance, and PAN no., before the tender can be sold to him.
- The acceptance of the tender will rest with the General Manager of the Heavy Water Plant (Kota) who does not bind himself to accept the lowest tender. The General Manager reserves to himself the authority to reject any or all tenders received, without assignment of any reason. All tenders in which any of the prescribed conditions are not fulfilled or incomplete in any respect are liable to be rejected.
